In this article we ask whether Rider Training Schools are as good as they should be, or should you demand better?
The objective was to gain a detailed understanding of how these Schools train both new and beginner riders. Do they actually equip them with the skills they need to take on the challenges of motorcycling in Canada? What we discovered was both unexpected and genuinely disappointing.
At the risk of letting the cat out of the bag, there are serious deficiencies with the overall process of training new riders and. in particular, some of the Canadian Rider Training Schools left is with some real causes for concern. Especially in the areas of course content, the teaching methods; the quality of the instructors; the approach/attitude towards the students; and the bikes that are used for the training.
